DATIN HAJJAH NONA BINTI SALLEH (Group Chairperson)

Datin Nona Binti Salleh, is the Group Chairperson. She started her investment career with Aseambankers in 1992 where she gained exposure in the management of Shariah and semi-Shariah  portfolios. Over the past 30 years, she has accumulated experience through her involvement in the investment management and strategy of her clients’ investment portfolios, including the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Lembaga Tabung Haji, Koperasi Jaya Diri, Double Growth Fund and Emerging Growth Fund (BHLB Unit Trusts) as well as Maybank Dana Yakin.

Prior to re-joining the Phillip Group in 2001 to head its Malaysian operation, she has held several key positions in investment management and research, including the positions of Associate Investment Director of BHLB Asset Management, a subsidiary of Ban Hin Lee Bank (now merged under CIMB group) and Chief Investment Officer at Maybank Investment Management Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Malayan Banking Berhad. Datin Nona is a graduate of the London School of Economics, University of London and she holds the Investment Management Certificate (IIMR), UK.

Mr. Andy Lim Say Kiat started his career as a Dealer in the international commodities market before joining Malaysian derivatives operation as a Futures Dealer representative in 1998. He has more than 22 years of experience in the capital markets covering fund management, derivatives broking, financial planning, research, financial platform development, distribution and marketing. 

He was a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Financial Advisers of Malaysia from 2013 to 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management (Honours) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder since 2006.

 

 

 

 

ENCIK MOHD FADZLI BIN MOHD ANAS (Chief Executive Officer)

En. Mohd Fadzli has worked in various senior capacities in the financial industry for the past 22 years. He has also been actively involved in the business development activities of a listed telecommunications company, where he served as President of its Group Marketing Council which was responsible for advising the company’s Management Committee on marketing strategies. En. Mohd Fadzli graduated with a B.Sc. (Mathematics) from Clarkson University in New York, and holds an MBA (Finance) from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.

Mr. Lam Choon Jin has more than 38 years of working experience and has about 2 decades of experience with the group. He is currently overseeing CLSA SECURITIES Mr. Lam Choon Jin is the key person to ensure smooth transfer of knowledge to the local staff and dealers, enabling CLSA SECURITIES to absorb the technical skills in an efficient manner. Mr. Lam Choon Jin has been handling foreign institutions and individual investors while working in Singapore.

 

 

 

 

MR. ALFRED LOKE KA WAI (Executive Director)

Mr. Alfred Loke has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial industry mainly in the Unit Trust and Investment Management fields. His career began in Citibank Malaysia where he spent 7 years there before moving to Public Bank Berhad and RHB Bank Berhad. In 2007, he joined RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd (formerly known as OSK-UOB Unit Trust Management Berhad) before advancing his career to CLSA SECURITIES  Malaysia in 2010. With his astute experience in the financial industry, he regularly gives talks on investment products along with conducting training. Awarded from the University of Derby, UK, Alfred is a Master Degree holder in Marketing. He also holds a Capital Market Service Representative License (CMSRL)

 

 

 

MR. ANG KOK HENG (Chief Investment Officer)

Mr. Ang Kok Heng joined CLSA GROUP in January 2007 as the Chief Investment Officer. He brings along with him more than 20 years of experience in equity research and investment having worked in TA securities as the head of research for 7 years and thereafter as the head of investment in TA Asset Management Sdn Bhd for another 12 years.

 

Mr. Ang has very extensive experience in the capital market in Malaysia and his views are well sought after by local and foreign journalists. He was an investment columnist for New Straits Times for three years and he also acted as the investment consultant for a medium size composite insurance company for several years. While in his previous employment, he led a team of fund managers to win several awards for the unit trust funds.

 

He graduated with a BE in Mechanical Engineering, from University of Malaya in 1980 and holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Ang holds a Capital Markets Services Representative License (CMSRL/A3984/2007) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder since 1997.
